Vroomity Loops: Roundabout Puzzle Chaos

HOOOOOONK! MOVE IT GRANDMA!

Vroomity Loops is a playful 2D puzzle game built around a very specific piece of human behaviour - the wild, unpredictable ballet that is roundabout traffic. Your goal is simple on paper: enter the roundabout, find the correct exit, and leave without taking anyone out or ending up in the wrong place. On screen, it quickly becomes gloriously complicated.

The game leans into movement. Traffic keeps flowing, lanes are sometimes forbidden by continuous lines, and obstacles like cones and oil slicks change your options on the fly. It is a puzzle game where timing matters as much as planning.

Roundabout Rules and Objectives

In Vroomity Loops the core challenge comes from navigating a moving system. Each level presents a roundabout populated with cars that follow their own patterns and speeds. You must thread your way to the correct exit while respecting the environment:

  • Continuous lines block your movement - you cannot drive through them.
  • Traffic cones create temporary or permanent obstructions.
  • Oil spills cause your vehicle to spin inside the roundabout, upsetting both your plan and the flow around you.
  • Other cars have different speeds - planning must account for slower and faster traffic.

Levels ramp up in complexity as new elements are introduced and traffic becomes denser. The puzzle is not about raw reflexes alone but about reading the scene, learning the patterns, and choosing the right moment to make your move.

Two Sets of Controls

The developers give players a choice in how they want to tackle the chaos. Vroomity Loops offers two control schemes:

  • Legacy Controls - a more traditional setup for players who like precise, predictable inputs.
  • Intuitive Controls - designed for players who prefer a more natural-feeling steering experience.

The choice is partly philosophical and partly practical. The team admits they were a little clever with movement, so the option exists to let you pick the feel that suits your style. Either way, the controls support thoughtful decisions rather than twitch-only solutions.

Unlock cars

There are 10 unlockable cars in Vroomity Loops. Each vehicle changes the look of your ride, and some also tweak gameplay elements, so your garage can influence how you approach puzzles. Whether you collect them for aesthetics or because a specific car gives you an edge, unlocking all ten is part of the incentive loop.

The game teases the question: will you fill up the garage or leave it empty? Completionists and casual players alike will find reasons to hunt for every unlock.

Achievements and Extras

Vroomity Loops packs an achievement gallery that rewards both standard progress and creative problem solving. Some achievements unlock simply by playing through levels, while others require you to think outside the box or take riskier approaches. The gallery gives you something shiny to show off after mastering a tricky roundabout.

There may also be other unlockable gameplay aspects hidden behind particular challenges, which adds another layer of replayability.

Secret mini game

Yes, there is a secret mini game tucked away inside Vroomity Loops. The developers hint that you might need to hit cones, avoid oil, or even crash into cars to reveal it. The twist is that it is still under construction, so details are deliberately scarce for now.

Half the fun is discovering how to unlock this extra mode. When it becomes available, expect a small detour from the main puzzles - and possibly a chance to indulge in some chaotic driving that the main game politely discourages.

Disclaimer

Although Vroomity Loops draws inspiration from road laws and real-world traffic behaviour, the developers do not encourage players to mimic this driving in real life. Please always follow your local road laws.
